But these concepts mean different things to different people. Some delude themselves into thinking that the ALP is socialist, while others believe Russia under Stalin or was some sort of workers’ paradise. Wrong! 

This Marxist summer school will give you the fundamental tools you need to understand our world and how to change it. We will start by looking at Marx’s own writings, to show how his ideas and method turned anticapitalism from a utopian dream into a possible future. Then we will look at a series of core concepts, from revolution, imperialism and war to debates on fighting against racism, sexism and all the other oppressions in society.
